Making up for lost time

I rented a car this week so I can get back and forth between Dan and David's house (in Hollywood) and Amy and Gus's house (in Venice). I've been away from my own car for so long maybe I just miss being behind the wheel. Either way I'm feeling pretty mobile again, and I'm tempted to take a drive up the coast and see my friends who are still at Esalen. (Some of the work scholars I became friends with stayed on for the following month which is still going on.)

Not that any of this has to do with the photo I posted. Isn't she special?
I took the shot over my shoulder, facing the wrong way. I'm so subtle.
(And lucky I got any shot at all.)
